Can I speak to you first before deciding to undertake therapy?
Luisa offers a free 15 minute initial telephone conversation to all clients to discuss your current needs and see if she is the right fit for you or your child.

What will happen in the first session?
I will first complete an initial assessment with you and your child or teenager to develop and understanding of the difficulties they face, which will then help guide treatment.
Information will be gained to help us come to a shared understanding of what you (or your child’s) difficulties are and more importantly what maintains them. This helps us agree on your (or your child’s) needs and what changes you (or your child) would like to make as well as the best way to help you.
Do you offer sessions online?
I offer online sessions via zoom. Following confirmation of your appointment you will be emailed a zoom link prior to each session. Online sessions are often preferred as a form of therapy for many people as it can fit in more easily to their busy lives or school timeaccordionle as it saves travel time.
How often should I attend sessions?
It is important to attend sessions regularly to gain the most benefit and to make therapeutic progress. Weekly or fortnightly sessions are recommended and the same day and time can be arranged for you each week.
How much do sessions cost?
Payment for sessions can either be self funded or paid by your health insurance. Luisa’s fees are £120 for a 50 minute session. She is registered with most major health insurance providers and fees for these cases will be arranged through them. Luisa accepts self referrals or these can be made from other professionals i.e. your GP.
Payment will be invoiced to you directly after the session. If you are using health insurance, sessions are invoiced and paid for directly by your insurance.
What if I need to cancel a session?
If you give more than 48 hours notice then there is no charge. However, if you give less than 48 hours notice you will be charged the full fee for the session. Please be aware that insurance companies do not pay for missed or cancelled sessions so you will be liable to pay the full fee.
